Excitement is in the air in Essex County after one lucky lottery player struck it big with a $150,000 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot on Tuesday.
According to New Jersey Lottery officials, the winning ticket was purchased at Party Wines, located at 469 Mount Pleasant Avenue in West Orange.
The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the prize-winning ticket.
This marks the second Jersey Cash 5 jackpot win in the same week and the 26th jackpot claimed so far this year.
The winning numbers drawn were 04, 19, 28, 29, and 36. The XTRA number was 04, and the Bullseye number was 36.
In addition to the top prize, several other players walked away with substantial winnings. Two ticket holders matched four out of five numbers, plus the Bullseye to win $500.
