Enjoyable Weather Tuesday After Windy Conditions in Newark on Monday

After yesterday's windy whirlwind, residents in the Newark and North Jersey region can expect much more favorable conditions today.TinyWind gusts reached up to 60 mph, causing some disruptions in North Jersey, but today promises a welcomed change.

We're waking up to a pleasant 40 degrees, setting the stage for a beautiful day ahead.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will gradually rise into the 50s by late morning, reaching a high near 65 degrees.

The forecast calls for partly sunny skies through mid-morning, transitioning to sunny conditions later in the day.

While there will be a breeze, with west winds of 8 to 16 mph, NWS forecasters say gusts are expected to be much milder, reaching up to 29 mph.

Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear with a low of around 45 degrees.

While it will still be breezy, it won't come close to the intensity of Monday's winds. Overall, it's shaping up to be a pleasant day for outdoor activities, including golfing.
