Englewood Man Charged with Explicit Assault, Endangerment of a Minor

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Ulises Ramirez Argueta, 31, of Englewood, who was already in custody at the Bergen County Jail, on new charges of criminal attempt/explicit assault, endangering the welfare of a minor and criminal explicit contact. 

According to Prosecutor Musella, on Friday, April 15, the Englewood Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged explicit assault of a minor. 

An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Englewood Police Department revealed that Argueta explicitly assaulted the minor, who was 16 years old or younger, in Englewood, on one occasion.

As a result of the investigation, on Tuesday, April 19, Argueta was charged and served at the Bergen County Jail with criminal attempt/explicit assault, criminal explicit contact and endangering the welfare of a minor. 

Argueta remained in the custody of the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in this latest matter in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
