Employees Tied Up During Robbery at Hackettstown Check Cashing Place Armed Robbery

Hackettstown Police are investigating an armed robbery of a check-cashing store on Saturday morning. 

According to preliminary reports, two black males entered Anderson Check Cashing located at 270 Mains Street at approximately 9:15 a.m.

Reports say that the suspects brandished a gun, tied up an employee and reportedly stole approximately $150,000 before fleeing.

According to reports, the suspects were in a beige 4-door SUV that was last seen traveling east on Main Street.

Currently, no serious injuries have been reported, and EMS have been dispatched to the scene
