Several cars were damaged after Elizabeth Police were in a pursuit Monday night.
Officers attempted to pull over a vehicle wanted for traffic violations, and other reported criminal activity when the driver ignored police lights and sirens and led cops on a pursuit through parts of the city.
At the intersection of Westfield and Elmora Avenues, the driver slammed into about five vehicles before bailing from the car.
Police set up a perimeter to search for the suspect, but there were no reports of an arrest.
No serious injuries were reported.
