In the early morning hours of Sunday, July 7th, Elizabeth Police Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Westminster Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found two adult males with gunshot wounds.
One of the victims, identified as Jose Aranzamedi, 47, was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The other victim, a 51-year-old male, is currently in stable condition after receiving treatment at a local hospital.
