The Elizabeth Patrolman’s Benevolent Association Local #4 visited Elizabeth Public Schools to deliver turkeys as part of their annual turkey drive that helps members of the Elizabeth community in times of need.
Each year members of our Elizabeth PBA Local #4 volunteered their time to give out hundreds of turkeys and canned goods to families who might otherwise not have one on their tables on Thanksgiving.
“Despite cold temperatures and slushy pavement, the turkey drive was a success and numerous families will be able to enjoy themselves a very Hearty.. Happy.. Thanksgiving!”
The drive launched in 1992 when detective bureau and the patrol division who worked alongside local businesses that were willing to contribute the cause.
