A 25-year-old man injured after gunfire erupted near Mattano Park succumbed to his injuries Tuesday.
According to authorities, police responded to South 5th Street for a report of shots fired shortly before 4:45 p.m. on July 26.
Upon arrival, police found Anthony Feliciano, who was reportedly walking past Mattano Park, when he was struck by gunfire in the leg.
EMS rushed Feliciano to University Hospital where he remained in critical condition until his passing (yesterday) Tuesday.
The suspect is possibly a male Hispanic or white, who witnesses observed fleeing the scene on a bicycle towards Summer Street.
