The second victim of an early November house explosion in Elizabeth has died.
According to family members and city officials, Kimiyha Henderson, is now the second fatal victim of last month’s home explosion in Elizabeth.
Kimiyha Henderson who was critically injured in the Magnolia Avenue explosion on Nov. 11, succumbed to her injuries this morning.
City officials announced days after the explosion, that an further investigation determined that the explosion was caused by a gas leak. Adding that the investigation led to the discovery of an illegal apartment on the ground floor of the home.
The explosion damaged several structures and injured a total of 16 people.
Femi Brown, 24, was also killed.
