Elizabeth police are investigating after a CVS store was robbed at knifepoint Thursday morning.
According to authorities, officers responded to the CVS, located on the 400 block of Westfield Avenue, shortly after 9 a.m. for a report of a robbery.
Employees tell police the suspect entered the store and waited until the register opened to brandish a knife and demand money.
Officials say the suspect took a little over $300.00.
There were no immediate injuries reported.
According to authorities, the suspect was heavily disguised, so there is no description available at this time.
