Saturday's frigid temperatures didn't stop New Life Church - located at 1161 East Jersey Street in Elizabeth - who distributed almost 400 meals and toiletries to Elizabeth residents in need.
Organizers say between this event and another one that was hosted earlier this year, more than 750 people have been impacted.
"New Life Church members look forward to this event throughout the year where they get the opportunity to interact with the community while helping out those who may not be able to afford a Thanksgiving meal otherwise" according to organizers.
