Parsippany Police officials say an 86-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday night along Route 46.
According to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, the victim, identified as Gui Con of Parsippany, was hit at approximately 10:20 p.m. on the eastbound side of the roadway near the intersection of Parsippany Boulevard.
Con was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said the driver remained at the scene and was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
The incident remains under investigation.
