Authorities this morning are investigating a homicide in East Windsor, according to police.
Police responded to Mozart Court area, where 73-year-old woman was found beaten to death.
The victim, later identified as Safia Diwan, was found dead on the front office of the home shortly after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said.
Investigators did not find any signs of forced entry into home. However, they are searching for Tasneem Diwan, 45, also of Mozart Court, in connection with the death.
Diwan drives a green 2000 Nissan Quest minivan with New Jersey plate number JYY16P.
Anyone who sees Diwan is asked to contact police and should not attempt to approach her.
