Police in East Orange are on the search for the driver of a vehicle that struck another vehicle then fled the scene at around 8 a.m. the morning.
The crash that happened in the area of Park Avenue and North 15th Street has police looking for a BMW X3 with NY licenses plate numbers "HHS3246".
The vehicle reportedly fled towards Newark.
Newark Police is in the area of North 6th Street and Park Avenue with a suspect that fits the description of the driver.
The suspects attempted to resist arrests causing minor injuries to the officer.
