East Orange Man Charged for Soliciting Explicit Images from Minors

Mr. Abdur-Razzaaq Henderson, 26, of East Orange, faces serious charges after allegedly coaxing two minors into sending him explicit videos through text messages, announced U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger.  Ad Federal officials said Henderson is accused of two counts of producing explicit images of minors and one count of possessing such images.  

Following his court appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge André M. Espinosa, he was released on a $100,000 unsecured bond.

Court documents and statements reveal that in April 2023, Henderson initiated communication with a minor outside of New Jersey.  

At his behest, this minor produced and sent videos via text showing explicit behavior. 

A similar incident occurred in July 2023 with another minor, also located outside New Jersey, who was persuaded to send explicit videos. 

Furthermore, Henderson reportedly discussed the explicit assault of a younger sibling with the second minor.Ad On March 5, 2024, authorities discovered multiple videos on Henderson's cell phone, which depicted explicit material involving minors.  

The charges against Henderson for the production of these explicit materials could lead to a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 30 years, along with a fine of up to $250,000. 

The charge of possessing explicit images of minors could result in up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
