Police in East Orange are investigating a reported burglary that occurred at a residence in the city.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the 60's block of 9th Avenue just before 1:45 a.m. to investigate reports of a burglary in progress.
The homeowner told units arriving at the scene that when he returned home, he observed two black males in his basement.
Both men reportedly ran from the scene when coming in contact with the homeowner reports said.
There were no physical injuries reported.
