Authorities in East Orange are investigating an armed robbery that was reported in the city on Tuesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the incident happened at approximately 4:25 a.m. in the vicinity of 71 North Grove Street where reports of an armed robbery in progress placed officers at the scene.
Upon arrival, police were made aware that two black male suspects, who were armed with guns, approached the victim and took personal possession at gunpoint.
According to reports, the suspects are responsible for at least one other robbery that occurred in the city on Tuesday morning.
There were no physical injuries reported.
East Orange City officials did not respond to public information requests regarding the matter.
