East Brunswick Police Search for Suspect who Stole Cash, Memorial Day Poppies from Representative

Police in East Brunswick are on the search for the suspect who stole cash and Memorial Day Poppies from a solicitor in the city on Friday.

According to police, at approximately 4:45 pm, a representative from the East Brunswick Memorial VFW Post 133 was handing out Memorial Day Remembrance Poppies and soliciting donations in the area of the Ryders Lane and Cranbury Road.

Police say while the representative interacted with a motorist, someone stole three plastic bags containing remembrance poppies, and an unknown amount of money was taken from the side of the road.
