Good morning, New Jersey!
We’re waking up to some early morning rain as we close out the week, but overall it’s feeling pretty comfortable outside. If you’re heading out early, don’t forget to grab an umbrella.

Happy Friday! We made it through another week, and we hope your morning is off to a great start. It is currently 70 degrees in downtown Newark at 4:30 a.m.
Rain will continue through portions of the early morning commute, with showers expected to taper off between 8 and 9 a.m.
While there may be a few dry breaks before then, it’s still a good idea to carry an umbrella if you’re catching the bus or heading to work.
Once the rain moves out, skies will gradually brighten, and it will turn into a warm summer afternoon with temperatures climbing into the upper 80s, with some locations approaching 90 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service:
Today: Showers likely, mainly before 7 a.m. Then partly sunny, with a high near 88. West wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Have a safe Friday, enjoy the improving weather later today, and have a wonderful weekend, Jersey!
