A two-car collision in the early hours of Friday morning resulted in several injuries on a busy roadway in Newark's East Ward.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of Route 21 and Pennington Street around 3 a.m. following reports of the crash.
Upon arrival, Newark Police found three individuals suffering from various injuries due to the collision on Route 21.
EMS was quickly called to the scene, where they provided immediate assistance before transporting the victims to University Hospital for further medical treatment.
Authorities have reported that all injured parties are expected to make a full recovery.
The cause of the crash is currently under thorough investigation by Newark Police.
