Emergency crews rushed to the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Totowa early Tuesday morning that left at least one person trapped inside a vehicle.
According to preliminary information, police requested firefighters and two BLS units shortly after 2:10 a.m. for a crash with entrapment near 12 Vreeland Avenue.
Upon arrival, emergency crews confirmed that two vehicles were involved and one occupant was trapped, requiring firefighters to force open a vehicle door to complete the rescue.
The victims were eventually freed and transported to area hospitals for treatment.
The extent of their injuries was not immediately available.
