An early morning strong armed robbery in Jersey City has police searching for a suspect
Police responded to reports of an armed robbery in progress that happened in the area of Monticello and Harrison Avenue shortly before 5 a.m. where they located a female victim who told them that she was robbed a short time before officers arrived.
The suspect is described as a black male who was last seen wearing a white hoodie, and black pants when he took personal possessions from the victim before running from the scene.
There were no physical immediately injuries reported.
