Police in Newark are investigating a stabbing near a major transportation hub that sent one person to the hospital Wednesday morning.
Police say the incident happened around 2:25 a.m. at Raymond Plaza West.
According to preliminary reports, police responding to a stabbing report then found the victim suffering serious stab wounds at that location.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital in serious but stable condition, according to reports.
Police have not released the motive for the attack at this time.
