Trenton Police are investigating a chaotic early-morning altercation that left at least one person injured in the city's Tioga Street area.
According to preliminary reports, officers were dispatched around 2:30 a.m. Sunday to the 200 block of Tioga Street after receiving multiple 911 calls about a large crowd and a physical fight unfolding in the street.
When officers arrived, they encountered a disorderly scene and found one individual suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to provide treatment on site. A second EMS unit was also requested as a precaution, but it remains unclear if any additional individuals were injured.
The cause or purpose of the large gathering was not immediately known, and officials have not confirmed if any arrests were made.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the altercation or has information to contact Trenton authorities.
