An early morning crash in Medford, Burlington County, took the life of a person Saturday.
In a preliminary investigation of the incident, police responded to reports of a person down with serious injuries in the area of 2236 Church Street shortly before 1:30 a.m.
When emergency responders arrived, they found the severely injured person who was pronounced dead a short time after being located.
Police closed off the area while detectives investigated what caused the collision.
There were no other injuries reported.
