An investigation is underway into a crash that sent several people to the hospital early this morning in Newark.
First responders were called to the southbound side of Rt. 1&9 near the ramp to Raymond Boulevard at around 3:30 a.m. where they found a collision that involved two vehicles at that location.
Medical personnel located one person unresponsive at that location and rushed the victim to University Hospital where their injuries were reported as critical as of this morning.
Two other victims were transported to University Hospital where they are said to be in stable condition.
It is not immediately known what caused the crash at this time.
