Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of Investigations Stephen F. Wilson, Jr., and Mount Olive Township Chief of Police Stephen Beecher announce the implementation of a joint Driving While Intoxicated checkpoint in Mount Olive Township during the month of August 2018.

Officials say the checkpoint is funded by grants that the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office received from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety to conduct DWI checkpoints at various locations throughout Morris County.

According to authorities, additional checkpoint dates will be announced in the future.

Law enforcement personnel from the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and the Mount Olive Township Police Department will be conducting the checkpoint.
