The search for a driver who injured a Clifton gas attendant after dragging him nearly 30 feet continues.
According to authorities, on Jan. 14th at approximately 9:30 p.m. a female possibly operation a silver Nissan Sentra, received $20 worth of gas from the "Gulf" gas station, located on Piaget Avenue at the intersection of Seventh Street.
Officials say when the attendant reached into the driver's window to accept payment, the driver closed the window on his arm and sped off with the attendant's arm trapped in the window.
Police say the attendant was dragged approximately 30 feet before the driver opened the window and freed his arm. The attendant - who suffered a leg injury - was later tended to by the Clifton Fire Department.
The suspect vehicle ultimately continued on Seventh Street, and then eastbound on Barkley Avenue, at which time the attendant lost sight of it.
Authorities described the driver as a white female in her 20's, with a thin build, blonde hair, and brown eyes. She was lady seen reportedly wearing a hooded sweatshirt, grey in color.
According to officials, the suspect vehicle was reported to be in dilapidated condition and may have been displaying a Pennsylvania license plate.
