Driver of Van Killed After Rear-Ending Tractor Trailer on NJ Turnpike


NJ State Police announced a crash that killed the driver of a van that crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer on the NJ Turnpike in Mount Laurel Monday night.

According to police, the collision happened in the southbound lanes near mile mark 40.6, where the driver of the van lost control and slammed into the rear of the truck just before 9:30 p.m.

Police say the van burst into flames trapping the unidentified driver.

Authorities have not confirmed if the truck was moving or parked on the side of the road at this time.
