The driver that caused a collision at a location in Newark's South Ward ran from the scene and remains at-large.
According to police, at approximately 12:15 a.m., emergency responders were notified of a collision with possible injuries near 272 Clinton Place.
Upon arrival, firefighters found two cars involved in a collision, but no trapped occupants in either vehicle, police said.
Witnesses say the driver bailed from the car and ran on Clinton Place.
No serious injuries were reported.
