Driver Killed in Camden County Car Crash

Officials in Camden County are investigating the cause of a crash that killed the driver of a vehicle in West Berlin on Monday morning.

According to a preliminary investigation, police were called to the vicinity of 638 Cooper Road to investigate reports of a crash around 1:15 a.m.

Upon arrival, police found a car that left the roadway and slammed into a tree with one person inside.

Police say the severely injured person inside the vehicle was unconscious and unresponsive.

Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene, according to police.

The cause of the crash is under investigation and there were no other injuries reported.
