Authorities are investigating a fatal early-morning crash on Interstate 80 in Roxbury that claimed the life of a Pennsylvania man on Friday.
According to information released by New Jersey State Police, 41-year-old Michael Murphy of Blakeslee, PA, was traveling eastbound around 5:20 a.m. when his vehicle struck the rear of a disabled truck stopped in the right lane.
The impact occurred roughly three-quarters of a mile east of Exit 30.
Troopers said Murphy was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the disabled truck sustained minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
