Paterson Police are investigating the cause of a crash that injured the driver of the vehicle on Friday morning.
According to police, the collision happened at approximately 3:07 a.m. in the vicinity of 75 Chestnut Street.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene found a severely damaged car after it struck a tree at that location. Police say the driver of the vehicle was extricated then transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries.
There were no other injuries reported.
