The Paterson Police Department is investigating a stabbing incident that resulted in fatal injuries Monday.
The early morning double stabbing happed around 4:25 a.m. near 445 Totowa Avenue.
Police said emergency responders arrived and found two victims suffering severe injuries after being stabbed at that location.
Medical personnel pronounced at least one of the victims dead while the other victim suffered severe and life-threatening wounds.
According to officials, the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office and Paterson Police worked the scene of the stabbing.
The motive for the attack is under investigation and no arrests have been immediately reported.
