Two victims suffered gunshot injuries in a late-night shooting in Paterson Tuesday.
Authorities say a ShotSpotter device activated and alerted police of a shooting in 12th Avenue around 11:10 p.m.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a person suffering bullet wounds.
While EMS prepared the victim for transport to the hospital, St. Joseph's Medical Center officials notified Paterson Police that a person entered the emergency room suffering bullet wounds.
Authorities believe that the walk-in gunshot victim was injured at the original crime scene.
Both victims were reportedly in stable condition and are expected to survive.
The motive for the shootings is under investigation.
No arrests have been reported.
