Authorities in Middlesex County are looking into a shots-fired incident that connected and injured two victims on a street in New Brunswick on Thursday morning.
According to police, gunfire erupted in the vicinity of 177 Throop Avenue at approximately 2:30 a.m. where officers arrived to find two victims struck by bullets at that location.
Police say both victims were rushed to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in stable condition.
Detectives searched the area for evidence and found several shell casings as they try to determine a motive for the shooting.
There were no arrests made.
