The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office has been notified of a shooting incident that injured two people in Paterson Saturday.
Police responded to the late-night shots fired incident that erupted near the intersection of 10th Avenue and East 25th Street around 11:15 p.m.
Officers taped office the area after locating a person suffering a bullet wound in their leg.
While EMS units assisted the victim, officials at St. Joseph's Hospital notified police that a gunshot victim entered the emergency room suffering bullet wounds.
Police believe that the walk-in gunshot victim was injured at the 10th Avenue crime scene.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
No arrests have been made.
