Double Shooting in Jersey City, Victims Sustain Non-Fatal Injuries

A troubling scene emerged in Jersey City on Saturday evening, as two individuals suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds in an incident that remains under active investigation. NinosThe event unfolded just before 6:45 p.m. when police were called to Rose Avenue following reports of gunshots.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered shell casings and one person with a bullet wound.

This victim was promptly taken to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment. As detectives worked to gather evidence and ascertain a motive at the scene, another development occurred: officials at the hospital reported that a second individual, also suffering from a gunshot wound, had entered the emergency room.

Thankfully, the condition of both victims is not considered life-threatening at this time.

However, details regarding the motive for the shooting remain undisclosed, and no arrests have been made.

The Jersey City Police Department continues its investigation, piecing together the events that led to this violent occurrence.
