Dogs Attack Their Owner in Jersey City

Police in Jersey City are reporting a dog attack that occurred during the overnight hours.

According to a brief statement released by Jersey City officials, it happened at approximately 10:33 pm where Jersey City Police officers responded to 150 Van Nostrand Avenue on a call of a dog attacking his owner.

Upon officer's arrival, they found the injured owner of the dogs bleeding at that location after being attacked at that location.

Officials say the victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center suffering non-life threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
