Dispute Triggers Stabbing of Two 14-Year-Old Paterson Girls

A Kennedy High School student was accused of stabbing two 14-year-old girls Wednesday afternoon after some sort of dispute.

Police responded to the area of Union Avenue and Rossiter Avenue shortly after 3 p.m. for a dispute.

Upon arrival, took a 17-year-old female student from at Kennedy High School into custody after attacked a total of three 14-year-old girls.

According to police, two of the victims, both students at Don Bosco Tech Academy middle school, were transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening wounds.

A third girl, also a Don Bosco student, was attacked but was not cut by the 17-year-old student.

Authorities have not disclosed details surrounding what caused the attack or what exactly was used to attack the victims.

The attacker has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault and weapons offenses.

Since yesterday's incident, extra security officers have been assigned to Don Bosco and uniformed police officer are now stationed at the school for dismissal.
