DEVELOPING PATERSON NJ: Stray Bullets Smash Through Window of Home, Car Struck

Police are in the scene of shots fired with property damage reported at a location in Paterson at this time.

According to preliminary reports, gunmen arrived in the vicinity of 367 East 27th Street at approximately 11:40 a.m. and began to fire shots at unknown targets.

Police say there were no injuries reported, but bullets entered the second-floor window of a home at that location. A car was also struck by gunfire, according to police.

Authorities are looking for two male suspects who sped away in a blue vehicle.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
