There is an active investigation underway at a park in Paterson as detective look into the cause of death of a man found dead at a park.
Police were called to the Westside Park at approximately 5:30 a.m. to investigate reports of an injured person.
Upon their arrival, they found an adult male unconscious and unresponsive at the carnival according to authorities.
According to police, the body was found next to a trailer, which is used as sleeping quarters for the workers.
The man, identified as a carnival worker, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The State Regional Medical Examiners Office with determine the manner of the man's death.
UPDATE: The cause of the man's death is not suspicious.
