EMS rushed a severely injured person to St. Joseph's Hospital suffering a stab wound in the neck this evening in Passaic.
According to preliminary reports, police set up a crime scene on Main Avenue between Summer and Burgess streets where they closed the avenue after finding an unidentified person stabbed to the neck at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Police say there are no arrests reported and the extent of the victim’s injuries have only been reported as serious at this time.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
