Emergency responders are on the scene of a stabbing at a housing complex in Newark’s Central Ward.
Police called to 196 Court Street at around 5 p.m. after receiving reports of an injured person.
Units arriving at the scene found a male victim suffering multiple stab wounds to the chest.
The victim was transported to University Hospital where doctors immediately began treating the man’s injuries.
Police set up a crime scene where they searched the area for evidence and a possible suspect.
There were no arrests reported.
