Police are on the scene of a shooting with a man down in the city's South Ward at this time.
Reports of shots fired sent police to a car repair shop in the 300 block of Elizabeth Avenue at approximately 12:41 p.m. where officers arrived to find a male victim suffering a gunshot wound to the leg at that location.
EMS rushed the victim to University Hospital where he is expected to survive his injury according to preliminary reports.
The suspect reportedly left the area and remains at-large.
There were no other injuries reported.
