EMS rushed a male stabbing victim to University Hospital after police found the severely bleeding man in a restaurant parking lot in Newark.
According to police, it happened around approximately 7:15 p.m. inside the Burger King Parking lot on Clay and Broad streets where police were alerted of an injured person.
Units arrived to find the victim suffering a stab wound to the chest at that location.
Police are looking for a slim build 5’6” tall Hispanic male on who fled on a bicycle.
Police say the suspect wore a grey sweatsuit, green doo-rag and was last seen pedaling northbound on Broad Street.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
