Officials in Maplewood are confirming an armed robbery of a gas station that occurred this afternoon in the Township.
Details regarding the incident are continuing to develop, but according to a preliminary statement received from authorities, shortly before 1:50 p.m., two armed men arrived at the gas station armed with a weapon and wearing masks took an undetermined amount of cash from the attendant before fleeing the scene.
The suspects were only described as black males who wore hoodies according to reports.
Police say there were no physical injuries reported at this time.
