A male suspect fled the scene of a violent stabbing that occurred in a Jersey City neighborhood Tuesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the teens block of Martin Luther King Drive after they received reports of a severely injured person at approximately 5:30 a.m.
Officers arrived at the scene and requested EMS on a rush after finding the bleeding victim at that location according to reports.
Police say the suspect entered a silver or light-colored vehicle that was observed speeding away eastbound o Wade.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
**UPDATE 6:10 AM:** Two suspects have been detained and are being questioned for the incident at this time.
