Heavy fire through the roof of a multi-family building has firefighters on the scene battling the blaze in Irvington Township.
According to preliminary reports, firefighters were called to a three-story building in the 200 block of 22nd Street at approximately 3:30 p.m. to investigate reports of a fire with possible trapped occupants.
Crews arrived and found flames engulfing the top rear portion of the structure according to fire offcials.
Firefighters began an exterior attack as the intensity of the flames forced them out of the structure.
As of 4 p.m., there were no injuries reported and the fire has not been declared under control.
