Police and investigators are on the scene of a motorcycle crash that has one person dead on I-280 in Parsippany Troy-Hills at this time.
Details regarding the accident are pending an investigation but according to preliminary reports, sometime before 10:30 a.m., police were called to the westbound lanes of the highway near mile marker three where they arrived and observed two damaged motorcycles and a severely injured man.
The victim (53-year-old of Newark) was pronounced dead at the scene. The other motorcyclist reportedly suffered non-life threatening injuries.
New Jersey State Police officials are continuing to investigate.
